The Go-Getters Guide to Self-Love

Self-Love is not selfish; you cannot truly love another until you know how to love yourself. 

Do you ever get tired of hating yourself?  Did you grow up feeling like you were never enough or that your body wasn’t good enough? Today, I can confidently say that I am a changed woman.  

Like so many other women who suffered from body dysmorphia, I did not like my body. I am 5ft nothing, lol, 🙂 and I would always compare my body image to that of taller women, shapely women, fit women… get my drift.

So what I did to correct the negative thinking, I put in the work to achieve the results I wanted. Before you get all happy, NO, I didn’t have surgery to correct my height. LOL!!  I started meditating and fell in LOVE with Crossfit.  

I decided to take control of my life and made the necessary changes to my mindset and health. Check out my previous post about never giving up!

Your body is a breathing, living, beautiful work of art, and it deserves to be treated and embraced wholeheartedly.  

You have to choose yourself even when no one else will.  Self-Love is all about accepting yourself.  When you start entertaining the wrong things with the wrong people, your mindset changes, and you begin to lose yourself.  It’s okay to leave or take a break from the toxicity in your life and rediscover the happiness and joy that you deserve.
