10 Fun Ways To Exercise Without Realizing It

I know that it can be challenging to lose weight, and you have tried every diet known to humanity. Sticking to a plan and eating a monotonous diet can be time-consuming and takes a week for your hard work to pay off finally. 

 Unfortunately, exercising is equally important and is one of the most important things you can do to lose weight and stay healthy.  

There are several ways you can lose weight and burn extra calories without realizing that you are even exercising. In fact, it’s often the small things you can do that will make a difference.  What is physical fitness you ask?

1.    Dance Class

You have options like Hip Hop or other dance-related classes in your local gym or join a proper dance academy. This is the time to shake your tail feather and learn Swing, Flamenco, Salsa, Zumba, or any other dance that comes to mind. 

2.    Get a standing desk or bouncy ball

Instead of working on your desk in a seated position, get a standing desk. You burn more calories standing than sitting. Add that up to a few hours per day, and you consume a serious amount. Or sit on a gym ball instead of a chair. You develop core strength, balance, and you burn some extra calories too.

3.    Walking

Perfect if you are starting your fitness journey.  Go for a brisk walk in the park or discover your surrounding area.  Walking is great to release stress and clear your mental space. If you are fortunate enough to live close to any trails or beaches, please take advantage.  But just going for a walk around your neighborhood will get your heart rate up. Invest in a good fitness tracker to help you with your progress.

4.    Clean the house 10X

Put your headphones on and speed clean the house. For example, Set a timer and try to finish as fast as possible. Still, make sure to do a good job but do everything more quickly than you usually would. You will surely break a sweat.

You never know how long a minute is until you start exercising!!

5.    Aqua Cycling

Aqua cycling has many benefits, but the main benefit is CELLULITE REDUCTION.  The underwater cycling movement generates a regular lymphatic massage, which stimulates and breaks down fatty cells while the pressure of the water activates the muscles and creates to mobilize the fat and eliminate it via the circulation.

6.    Hula Hoop

Remember how much fun this was as a kid? Well, it’s great exercise too, especially for trimming your waist and hips and strengthening your core. A weighted hula hoop:
💖Massage the waist while exercising;
💖Can be adjusted the dance hoop to 6 to 8 sections as you need;
💖Intensify calorie burning.
💖Acquire an elegant posture.

7.   Skating/Rollerblading

Would you believe that rollerblading can burn a whopping 900 calories per hour?! The good thing for my knees is that you younger people can have at it😃. I will rather walk on the beach!!

8.    This has been tried and try

You know, the things that adults do. Research has shown that men burn an average of 100 calories during a 25-minute session, and women burn an average of 69 calories. Do you want to burn more? Then take the leading part and extend the foreplay. The longer you last, the more you burn. Now that’s physical fitness for YOU!! That’s good news!!!

9.    Pole Dancing 

It helps burn calories quickly, and it’s a great workout.  However, pole dancing taxes the muscles in the entire body, and you are always moving – making it a great isometric and cardiovascular exercise wrapped into one.

10.    Do Something, Do Anything

Instead of checking Facebook and Instagram during commercial breaks, get on the ground, and plank for three minutes.

These are some of the things you can do for fun and still lose weight at the same time. A good physical fitness routine will put you on the right track towards a healthier YOU!!

    Love these ideas.
    I think the best way to exercise is to make it part of your routine. I try and walk to work so if I don’t manage any other exercise that week at least I’ve done something. I also like to try go to a dance class as it doesn’t feel like exercise.
    I’ve not hula hooped in years! Seriously considering buying one and doing it in front of the telly!!!

      Hi Emma. I loved to hula hoop as a kid and now that you can do it for exercise, why not!!! Doing it in front of the telly will definitely pass time. 🙂
